The Plainfield SID
The Plainfield SID (Special Improvement District) is a designated area in the City of Plainfield, New Jersey where property owners pay a special assessment to fund additional services and improvements to the area beyond what is provided by the city government. The goal of a SID is to promote economic growth and development, enhance the overall appearance and safety of the area, and create a more vibrant and attractive community. The boundaries of the Plainfield SID are defined by the City of Plainfield and are subject to change over time.
